     Shatter Star was a concept based on asteroids but with a modern take. The player controls a singular ship, chosen from a group of 4 with different abilities and stats. They are then dropped in the middle of space with an onslaught of enemy waves constantly attacking. They will level up overtime by killing enemies increasing their power and set of abilities until they are faced with the ultimate gargantuan ship spanning multiple screens, Shatter Star.

     The project is a hobby project that I've been working on and off again in between other projects. It is meant to idealize a simple time of just starting a game and playing without any extra baggage or information needed besides survive and shoot. The extra player ships and level-up system are there to add extra replay-ability to the game. 

     12/14/2020 - As of this update, the game is nearing its completion. All player ships have been created and are functional. All enemies ships aside the final boss are finished. The boss is currently in progress. The level system and wave setup are complete. The boss, music, and a few SFXs and touch-ups are left. I am currently working on another project right now with other people, but will continue either when I have some free time or when that project is finished.
